Waylon
Waylon, Chris and Morgane’s first child, was born in 2009. Although the teen has mostly been kept out of the spotlight, his mother has posted a few adorable pictures of him to Instagram. In addition, Waylon and his well-known father have made fleeting appearances on the red carpet.
Waylon accompanied Chris and Morgane on the red carpet at the 2019 Toy Story 4 premiere, where Chris composed the song “The Ballad of the Lonesome Cowboy.” Waylon was seen supporting his father at the 2022 ACM Awards, where Chris took home the Male Artist of the Year trophy, three years later.
Ada
Ada is Chris and Morgane’s only daughter and their second child together. 2010 was her birth year. The teenager has attended a few red carpet events with her parents, just like Waylon.
Macon
In 2018, Macon and his brother Samuel were born as twins. Macon and Samuel arrived prior to Reba McEntire’s announcement of their birth at the 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards.
“Those little rascals arrived a little early,” Reba explained, referring to Chris’s absence. “Just out of the press! twin boys.
Samuel
In 2018, Samuel and his twin, Macon, were born. When Morgane announced their birth to her Instagram followers at the time, she mentioned that both were born a month early.
“I appreciate all of your affection! In her caption, she said, “We’re so happy to be home with our lovely family at last.” We want to express our gratitude to all of the amazing doctors and staff at Centennial Women’s [and] Children’s Hospital in Nashville. We spent a week in the NICU more than a month early, and the amazing staff there kept our sons happy and healthy. Our appreciation for all of you and all you have done for our family is beyond words. The youngest son of Morgane and Chris
The name of the youngest boy that the “Fire Away” artist and his spouse welcomed in 2019 has not been made public. On Mother’s Day of that year, Morgane made the announcement that their baby son was born.
Speaking to reporters backstage at the 2018 CMA Fest, Chris gave an explanation of why he and Morgane have kept their children out of the spotlight.
“I registered for this. The CMA award recipient noted, “My kids didn’t.” I don’t involve my kids in anything because I’m a pretty private person. They should be allowed to be children because they are children. … Since my wife is an adult, she has the freedom to chose to come out [in public]. That was not a decision made by my kids.
