About
My name is Eric Dunbar. My wife Dorth and I are the founders of InfoDailyNews.com. I am also an ex-crack addict. I prefer to use the term “ex-crack addict” as opposed to the term “rehabilitated addict,” because the process of rehabilitation did not work for me. I am also a survivor of Hurricane Katrina having spent 5 days in the flooded city of New Orleans. I will tell you more about me, but first let me tell you about InfoDailyNews.com.
The vision that we originally had for InfoDailyNews.com was to allow people the opportunity of posting their comments to the articles that we post on our VnePublication.com Website. In essence, InfoDailyNews.com is an extension of VinePublication.com.
It all began in 1994 when I was delivered by the power of God from my twelve-year crack addiction. I began writing notes in the form of a diary to keep track of my every move because I was determined to keep myself drug free at any cost. Those simple notes gave birth to my first published e-Book, “The Face of a Demon.” In the book I write about my most secretive and private life as a crack addict and the tremendous cost that I paid for my freedom.
I became obsessed with saving every drug addicted person on the planet by openly unveiling my life as an addict to all who wanted to know.
Some of the first articles that I placed on VinePublication.com and InfoDailyNews.com were short articles about addiction from my perspective.
Dorth also an author writes Poetry and Christian related material. She produced her first e-Book entitled “Trapped” in 2005.
When Hurricane Katrina inundated New Orleans we were trapped in the flooded city for five days. It was in the aftermath of the devastating and tragic storm that I realized just how much I love writing. We took refuge along with forty people in our neighborhood on the second and third floors of Samuel T. Green Middle School. I found a note pad and began writing the events of our encounter as they unfolded. My notes gave birth to my second published e-Book, “Katrina: In the Aftermath of a Killer.”
We were airlifted from the roof of the school by National Guardsmen and taken to Louis Armstrong International Airport where we boarded a DC-9 Navy Jet and taken to Texas where we now reside.
We wanted to help other victims of Hurricane Katrina, especially those who wanted to return to New Orleans so VinePublication.com became a source of information for the displaced survivors of Katrina. Today, we have grown to more than 100,000 viewers.
As we posted a variety of articles on VinePublication.com, InfoDailyNews Blog has given many people a chance to voice their opinions and vent their frustrations. We are now committed to voicing our opinions to news and current events as they occur. We hope you will become a part of our family of viewers and we look forward to posting your comments.
